A Tudor Reborn

When you think of a Tudor home, no doubt this is exactly what you imagine. Like many houses of this period, the interior of this enchanting family home was defined by typical use of heavy, ornate wood furniture such as trestle tables, benches & carved four-posted beds.

The brief was to create a stylish home with international flavours yet integrating a number of sentimental pieces of furniture restored & reupholstered. Period influences are evident throughout, with full height solid oak doors & casement windows with typical criss-cross pattern so beloved of the Tudor era adding true grandeur. Luxurious wallpapers & statement rugs were added to bring a playful ambience to the project.

Dressed in rich fabrics & geometric patterns, this family home is a considered balance between its heritage architecture & contemporary interiors, representing family living at its best.
